Ballethnic Dance Company is Ballethnic Dance Company Inc. creates access for dancers who in spite of proper training are overlooked. Elite training taught in the tradition of Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ballethnic creates and produces original Ballets relevant to its community. Increasing artistic opportunities and outlets for the community, Ballethnic Dance Company, Inc. is enhancing cultural diversity.

Volunteers are vital to nonprofit organizations and a component that can lead organizations towards fulfilling their goals of the greater good. Their active participation in fundraising, marketing, and program delivery saves their organizations millions of dollars a year; allowing more funds to be available for training & performance opportunities, scholarships, and other activities.

Volunteer Roles


Production Support helps to make our productions more than just a great show. They make it a great experience from the lobby to the last bow! Assist Ballethnic with front of the house activities such as greeting, ticketing and seating as well as backstage help with wardrobe, props, load in/out.


Assist the organization on an ad hoc basis with various projects. These can include making phone calls to supporters or donors, covering the phone when required, entering data using Microsoft Excel, and assisting the Event and Fundraising Coordinators with packing and distribution of campaign kits.


Assist Ballethnic Dance Company in raising funds for the organization.  You may be asked to assist at events to sell products or promote the dance company.  May also garner support by introducing potential donors to the organization’s mission and vision.


Find support and matching gifts from corporations and small businesses. Help acquire individual donors to join the inner circle and find support for scholarships for pointe shoes and scholarships for deserving young men and women to create opportunity and access.


Join us as a Ballethnic marketeer by helping to post to social media, local and national media outlets. Assist with email blasts and making phone calls to local businesses to create awareness..
